Photogrammetry

Photogrammetry uses a method called structure from motion to generate 3D Models from multiple images. Currently, I use it mainly to generate deadwood objects with a high level of variety to feed into the scene generation of my deep-learning pipeline.

Using UAV imagery enables to create highly detailed models with a variety of structures that would be very difficult to model by hand in blender.

But photogrammetry can also for various other subjects. e.g. Models/Maps of hazardous areas, Maps of sightseeing highlights, or just interesting sculptures.
